The Electric Chair (TEC) Barbershop surpasses just providing our customers with killer quality cuts and services. We pride ourselves on being Brisbane’s epicentre for style, addictive atmosphere, industry standard products and modern pop culture. From music, to decor, to our merchandise, we ensure the TEC experience is fully immersive. You’ll find the guy who wants great service, a great cut and a great time, all at an affordable price, in one of our chairs.
Our shops offer an extensive range of cut and styling options (including artistry track and razor blade work) and every service is complete with a free drink and hot towel.
In 2013, we opened our doors on Brisbane CBD’s busy Adelaide Street and quickly established ourselves as a go-to destination for modern male grooming. It’s thanks to our loyal customers that we now proudly have 4 stores across Brisbane spreading TEC style.
Thanks to our founder, Adrian Messina, we've managed to stay O.G. With over a decades worth of experience in barbering, he developed this brainchild when he realised he wanted to bring something modern and new to the old school practice of barbering. As a high school drop out, his pipe dream was only realised through years of passion, determination and work.
Our staff are picked on the same three criteria: passion, determination and how they work towards being leaders in male grooming (and we challenge you to find people more qualified). We now have 18 barbers who are proudly part of the TEC family.
